Services

We offer a wide range of GIS services. See the list below for specific details. If you have any questions, please contact us!

Site Finding

Site selection analysis is used in GIS to select the best location or site for a facility. We work closely with a client to define the specific criteria for a project or site.

Data Analysis

Data analysis is the processing of data to gain useful information, which can then be used to make informed decisions. In a GIS setting, we specialise in the manipulation and analysis of any kind of Spatial data – parcels of land, road and transport networks, service distribution, population data, demographics, etc.

map production

Map production covers a wide range of possible services – we have significant experience in all services mentioned below:

  • Cartographic representation – cartography is the visual representation of the world and its parts.
  • 3D visualization – this is useful to represent the scale of real-world objects and assists in understanding the spatial context and implications of a specific area. For example, the height of a building or a mountain in relation to its surroundings, not just a location on a two-dimensional map.
  • Base imagery for marketing plans – these are more graphically polished “pretty picture” maps that are useful for advertising, presentations, or websites. These site plans are typically colourful, with textured backgrounds and photorealistic elements.
  • Report imagery – we produce specific maps and images that are catered to a client’s specific graphic requirements. These usually form part of documents, reports, research, presentations or client prospecting.
  • Thematic maps – this is a type of map that portrays the geographic pattern of a particular subject matter (theme) in a geographic area.

data capturing

Each project has specific analysis criteria and requires accurate base data for processing. Often this data is not readily available or is not in a usable format. We have experience in a wide range of data capturing projects.

Skip Tracing

Similar to data capturing, skip tracing is the process of finding ownership information of specific parcels of land. This is particularly useful to developers who are doing high level site finding for projects such as solar and other renewable energies.

project management

Our project management experience includes budget calculation, resource allocation, time management and quality assurance for all mapping/fieldwork activities and data delivery.

We also have experience managing teams of data capturers, GIS consultants and members of a property development team.

GPS Databases

GPS Database Expansion and Improvement – We have experience on projects relating to the expansion and improvement of navigable roads databases for the Middle East Africa region, North America & Australasia.

Data management

This includes data validation, normalization, and formatting.
